Michael Mumma
As Chief Executive Officer of Blackstream International, Michael Mumma leads the vision, growth, and strategic direction of the firm and its portfolio of real estate brands, including residential, commercial, property management, and education divisions. Under his leadership, Blackstream International has expanded from its headquarters in Greenville, South Carolina, to a multi-market presence across the Carolinas, building a reputation for innovation, collaboration, and elevated client service.
Michael’s career has been deeply rooted in the real estate industry, with a strong foundation in finance and investment analysis. A graduate of Clemson University, he began his career underwriting more than $1 billion in multifamily lending across the United States, with a focus on affordable housing initiatives. He later served as Vice President at TD Bank, where he managed a portfolio of real estate-backed loans across the Southeast, bringing a disciplined, analytical approach to complex transactions and portfolio strategy.
Since joining Blackstream in 2017, Michael has played an integral role in the company’s evolution and growth. Progressing from agent to executive leadership, he has helped shape the structure, strategy, and scalability of the organization, ultimately stepping into the role of Chief Executive Officer. Today, he oversees a team of more than 100 agents and a growing operational staff, guiding the continued expansion and alignment of Blackstream International’s brands.
